Monday 3rd April ? walks **** Felixstowe prom ? sunny.

Walk 1 ? sunrise prom.

With Maeva coming for the third day in a row early this morning Mag and I decide to head down to Felixstowe prom at the end of our road to catch the sunrise leaving home at 5.50. With the skies pretty much cloud free it was not going to be a spectacular sunrise but it was lovely and quiet as we slowly walked to Jacobs Ladder with the sun showing its face just before 6.30, we were surprised just how far up the coast it came up. There was a light easterly breeze which was on our backs on the way back which made the walk very pleasant. Home for breakfast and sort out my pics sending some to the local TV weather and was lucky enough to get one on Chris Pages report on ITV?s About Anglia.

Walk 2. Felixstowe prom again.

Maeva arrived at 8.10 for the morning and after a quick cuddle from Mag she went to sleep for hours again on the settee which gave me time to do my exercises, sort out a hanging basket in the garden and cut some fire wood. With Maeva still asleep I peeled and cut vegetables for a roastie and made some soup, my cooking skills are coming on leaps and bounds! Maeva actually comes around, has her bottle, then we set off up the town before continuing once again down to the prom. Being half term it was quite busy with families enjoying the lovely sunny weather. The was a large boat moving the red and white bouy at The Dip so we walked to the Fludgers to get a better look. Maeva wakes up on the way back so I take her out of the buggy and she gets to actually see the sea for the first time today although the sunshine is a bit bright for her eyes! It?s a long drag back up Constitution Hill but I make it with a little help from Mag. Our son Dan is at our house to pick up Maeva and then we have some yummy homemade soup with our favourite toast with butter and grated cheese, delicious it was too. So now officially knackered having walked over 5 miles and all with a dodgy knee!
